Spend a once in a lifetime experience in the Moroccan Desert. Visit the Youssef ben Tachfine Dam, marvel at the dunes of Rsmouka and eat a traditional Amazigh lunch.

Desert Full-Day Trip

We'll collect you from your hotel in Agadir between 8:20 and 8:40 am, and head towards the endless desert. During the one hour and a half journey, admire how the landscape becomes increasingly drier until it becomes red sand dunes.

Our first stop is the Youssef ben Tachfine Dam, a large water reserve in the middle of the desert. Following a brief stop to explore this area, we'll head deeper into the desert landscape to explore the famous dunes of Rsmouka.

To replenish our strength, we'll visit a local Amazigh house to taste a traditional meal of tajine and couscous with fresh fruit and mint tea. With our energy recharged, we'll head back out on the road in the direction of Tiznit, known as the capital of silver.

Strolling through the old town, we'll witness the historic city walls and discover the silver Amazigh jewellery - the principle handicraft of the city. At the end of the tour, we'll visit the fisherman’s caves of Tiznit before heading home, crossing the Massa Valley on the way.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Join us for an unforgettable journey through the Moroccan desert with a comprehensive itinerary. The day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Agadir. The trip, lasting about an hour and a half, showcases transitions from urban landscapes to the vast sandy expanses of the desert, gradually revealing the iconic red dunes.

Upon arrival, the first destination is the impressive Youssef ben Tachfine Dam, where you'll have a brief opportunity to explore the area. Continuing on, we'll navigate deeper into the stunning desert environment to witness the renowned dunes of Rsmouka.

A traditional Moroccan lunch awaits you at a local Amazigh house, featuring tajine and couscous, complemented by fresh fruit and mint tea. After recharging your energy, we proceed towards Tiznit, celebrated as the silver capital of Morocco.

In Tiznit, you'll walk through the historic old town, exploring the city walls and browsing the local silver handicrafts, renowned for their craftsmanship. As the tour concludes, we’ll make a stop at the fisherman’s caves of Tiznit, followed by a scenic drive back home through the beautiful Massa Valley.
