8-Day Jordan Tour Package

Day 1: Arrival in Amman

Welcome to Amman! Upon landing at the airport, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for the evening. Enjoy dinner at the hotel and prepare for an exciting week ahead. Rest well!

Day 2: Amman - Dead Sea - Amman

Good morning! After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, we'll embark on our first excursion. Our journey will take us down to an impressive 1,312 feet (400 meters) below sea level to experience a dip in this remarkable salt lake and enjoy the amenities available at the local beach.

Following our visit to this unique location in the Middle East, we will return to Amman, where you can enjoy the afternoon at your own pace. Dinner will be served at the hotel, and you'll have a restful night ahead. Goodnight!

Day 3: Amman - Madaba - Mount Nebo - Shobak Castle - Petra

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head towards Madaba. Our first stop will be St. George's Church, home to its renowned mosaic depicting biblical landscapes, recognized as the earliest map illustrating Palestine.

Next, we'll ascend to Mount Nebo, where Moses is said to have first seen the Promised Land, as described in scripture. Afterward, our journey continues to Shobak Castle, a formidable fortress erected by the Crusaders in the early 12th century.

Our day concludes in Petra, where dinner will be served at your hotel, offering an opportunity to unwind for the night.

Day 4: Petra Exploration

After fueling up with breakfast, we will dedicate the day to discovering Petra.

More than 2,000 years ago, the Nabataeans established the Pink City as their empire's heart. They crafted magnificent temples and tombs within the rose-hued mountains and laid the groundwork for sophisticated agricultural and water systems.

Upon reaching the Petra Visitor Centre, you can choose to take a short horseback ride of half a mile (0.8 kilometers) to Siq, where your guide will enlighten the rest about the area's rich history.

Our exploration commences at the Obelisk Tomb and proceeds through the scenic Al-Siq Canyon, culminating at Petra's most famous site: the Treasury. Marvel at this grand tomb adorned with detailed columns and sculptures.

Following this, we will walk along the Street of Facades and pass the ancient theatre as we tackle the 850 steps leading up to the impressive Deir Monastery.

After an exhilarating day at Petra, you will return to the hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 5: Petra - Little Petra - Wadi Rum

Rise and shine! After a breakfast at the hotel, we will journey to the Wadi Rum Desert, with a visit to Little Petra planned for later.

At Wadi Rum, prepare for an exhilarating adventure during our jeep tour. As you traverse the desert, you'll be captivated by its pink sands and striking granite formations.

The day will conclude with dinner served at the campsite, where you'll recharge for the night in your Bedouin tent.

Day 6: Wadi Rum - Amman

After breakfast in Wadi Rum, we will make our way back to Amman. Following our return, dinner will be provided at the hotel, allowing for another night of restful sleep.

Day 7: Amman - Jerash - Aljoun - Amman

Today is dedicated to the exploration of Amman! We will visit the Citadel, the Archaeological Museum, and the Roman Theatre, all of which tell the story of this historical city.

We proceed north to Jerash, a significant Greco-Roman city often referred to as the "Pompeii of the East" due to its remarkable preservation. Here you can admire illustrious sites such as Hadrian's Gate, the Hippodrome, the Theatre, the Agora, the Cardo Maximus, the Temple of Zeus, and the Temple of Artemis.

Next, we will visit Aljoun Castle, a fortress constructed in 1185 and later rebuilt in the 13th century by the Mamluks after the Mongol invasion. This historic castle, perched atop a hill, offers breathtaking views.

We will then return to Amman for dinner and a restful night.

Day 8: Departure from Amman

After one last breakfast in Amman, it will be time to say farewell. We will accompany you to the airport for your departure flight. Safe travels!

Accommodation Details

This week-long tour includes seven nights of half-board accommodation in Jordan. Pricing is based on shared double or triple rooms, with an extra fee applicable for single occupancy. Your stay includes:

Amman (4 nights)

Petra (2 nights)

• 4-star hotel: Petra Palace or Panorama

Visa Requirements

A visa is necessary to enter Jordan. Please provide a copy of your passport at least one week prior to the tour for processing.

Important Notes

• The itinerary order may be adjusted based on your arrival day in Amman.
• If you arrive in Amman after 9 PM on the first day, dinner will not be included.
• During Ramadan, typically occurring between April and May, reservations may be made at whatever hotels are available, and adjustments in pricing may apply.

What You Need for This Tour

To participate in this tour, you will need round-trip flights to and from Amman, arriving on the first day of the tour and departing one week later on the same day of the week. Other than that, we will manage all arrangements!
