Meet your guide inside Antwerpen-Centraal (Antwerp Central Railway Station), an impressive nineteenth-century station. Start your walking tour of the Old Town with a visit to the Vleeshuis (Butcher’s Hall), built between 1501 and 1504. Next, admire Steen Castle, the oldest building in Antwerp, and walk through the Grote Markt, the city's main square surrounded by Renaissance-style buildings. Visit the Cathedral of Our Lady and stroll down Meir Street, Antwerp's primary shopping area. You will also see Rubenshuis, the residence of the famous painter for twenty-nine years.
Finally, explore the Port of Antwerp, Belgium's largest port, and visit the city's diamond district, renowned for its luxury jewelry stores. The tour concludes at Steen Castle.
