Your Gateway to Understanding Gaudí & Modernism in Barcelona
Commencing at the appointed time in Plaza Cataluña, centrally located in Barcelona, we will gather to embark on a 2-hour exploration of Gaudí’s masterpieces. It's noteworthy that Barcelona was designated as the World Capital of Architecture in 2026.
We’ll journey into the heart of modernist Barcelona, making our first stop at the Manzana de la Discordia, home to an array of Gaudí’s iconic creations. Here, we will be captivated by the stunning Casa Batlló, affectionately known as the house of bones, and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005.
Our path will lead us along the Paseo de Gracia, where we will encounter even more examples of Gaudí's artistry alongside other remarkable modernist structures. From the organic shapes of La Pedrera to the intricate details of Casa Lleó Morera and the whimsical sculptures of Casa Amatller, you will be inspired by the creativity on display.
After soaking in the diverse modernist influences along the Paseo de Gracia, we will hop on the metro towards one of Barcelona’s most emblematic landmarks—the famous Sagrada Família. Here, we will stand in awe of Gaudí's ultimate expression of modernism. Our attention will be drawn to the basilica's facades, particularly the remarkable Tower of Jesus Christ, which reaches 172.5 meters (566 feet) and was completed in February 2026, marking the Sagrada Família as the tallest church worldwide.
Our journey will conclude after approximately 2 and a half hours right at the Sagrada Família.
