Description

Day 1

We will gather at the Bucay Adventures office at the specified time to embark on an extraordinary exploration of the Bucay Mountains. There’s no better place to experience a night surrounded by the jungle!

Once everyone is accounted for, we’ll plunge into the vibrant depths of the Bucay Mountains, a captivating region filled with forests and stunning waterfalls that leaves every visitor awestruck. Our destination lies in the cloud forest lower down, where our campsite is situated for the night.

Upon reaching our site, we will get settled and relish a traditional dinner by the campfire — the perfect opportunity to discuss our initial experiences amidst the enchanting nature of Bucay!

Day 2

After a wholesome breakfast at the campsite, we’ll rejuvenate and proceed to the upper section of La Esperanza Forest. Here, we will embark on a hiking journey that showcases the magnificent Bucay waterfalls, including the spectacular Isabela Waterfall, standing 90 meters (295 feet) tall. To add an extra thrill to our adventure, we’ll indulge in canyoning down a 30-meter (98 feet) waterfall, promising loads of excitement!

Following our exhilarating escapades, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch near the waterfalls. Once we’ve quenched our hunger, it will be time to head back to the campsite, where we will prepare for our return to Bucay.

Our journey will conclude back at the meeting point around 4 pm.
