The sightseeing bus takes you on a journey covering 25 notable locations with a complete circuit taking around 3.5 hours. This open-top double-decker vehicle allows you to appreciate the most celebrated landmarks of Buenos Aires, while an English audio guide enriches your experience with historical insights along the way.

Gear up for some memorable snapshots! Feel free to hop on and off at will as you navigate the various stops. You’ll enter the political center at Congreso Square and Avenida de Mayo, and pass through vibrant areas such as San Telmo, Paseo de la Historieta, and the legendary La Boca district.

You will also have the opportunity to see the renowned Bombonera, home to the Club Atlético Boca Juniors, before reaching the picturesque Puerto Madero and Costanera Sur.

The bus route extends into the northern region of the city, including stops at Floralis Genérica, Usina del Arte, and the magnificent Teatro Colón. Be prepared to be captivated by the lush parks of Palermo that will reveal themselves before you. An adventurous and comprehensive route awaits!

Important Notice: Please be aware that stops 16 (Costanera Norte), 17 (Monumento Cristóbal Colón), and 18 (Parque de la Memoria) are currently out of service due to construction work.

During the booking process, you can choose unlimited access to the sightseeing bus for 24, 48, or 72 hours. Which option suits you best?

How Does It Work?

The ticket for the Buenos Aires sightseeing bus remains valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours following its first use. For instance, a 48-hour ticket activated on a Thursday at 3 PM will remain valid until Saturday at 3 PM. Within this timeframe, you can board and exit the buses as often as you wish.

Schedules & Frequency

  • The sightseeing bus operates every day from 9:20 AM to 6 PM, with the last bus leaving at 5:30 PM.
  • Keep in mind that on the final departure, only half of the route will be completed.
  • Expect an average bus frequency of 25 minutes throughout the week.

Guided Tours

In addition to your bus ticket, you will have access to several guided tours, all conducted by an English-speaking guide and lasting approximately one hour. To confirm the details, including schedule and meeting stop, consult with your guide while on the bus:

  • San Telmo neighborhood: spot the Mafalda sculpture, visit San Telmo Market, Plaza Dorrego, and see landmarks like Casa Mínima.
  • Plaza de Mayo: enjoy the iconic intersection of Diagonal Norte and Florida, and observe the essential buildings such as the Cabildo and Casa Rosada.
  • La Recoleta neighborhood: explore Plaza Francia and other notable sites including the famous Recoleta Cemetery.
  • La Boca neighborhood: take a leisurely walk by the Old Transporter Bridge, the Benito Quinquela Martín Museum, and Caminito Street.

Keep in mind that these tours are subject to availability and may be altered or canceled.

Boat Trip

If you opt for the 48-hour tourist bus ticket, it also includes a boat ride on the Río de la Plata, giving you a chance to explore one of Buenos Aires' stunning natural landscapes!

From stop 6, you can board the boat for a 40-minute journey along the river, traveling from La Boca to Puerto Madero. This experience promises breathtaking views of the Ecological Reserve, highlighting some of the city’s most prominent monuments and structures.

The ticket is valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours from the moment it’s used for the first time. For example, a 48-hour ticket used on a Thursday at 3 pm will be valid until Saturday at 3 pm. During this time, you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you like.

Important Notice: Please note that due to ongoing public works, stops 16 (Costanera Norte), 17 (Monumento Cristóbal Colón), and 18 (Parque de la Memoria) are suspended until further notice.

Schedules & Frequency

  • The Buenos Aires sightseeing bus operates Monday to Sunday from 9:20 am to 6 pm, with the last departure at 5:30 pm. Keep in mind that on this last departure, the bus only completes half of the route.
  • The average frequency is 25 minutes from Monday to Sunday.
  • If you have booked the 48-hour ticket with a boat trip, you'll need to ask the driver for the boat trip timetable.

 

Guided Tour

The guided tour is free and optional, and works with a voluntary contribution system for the guide. To confirm the schedules for each departure and its corresponding stop, you’ll need to check directly with the guide on board the bus. When joining, you only need to announce yourself at the stop.

Please note that the guided tour depends on weather and operational conditions. In case of cancellation, no refund will be issued.
