Your journey to Gyeongju will begin at a central location of your choice in Busan. After approximately 1.5 hours traveling across the scenic Korean peninsula, we will arrive at the remarkable Bulguksa Temple, a historic treasure and one of the most frequented temples in South Korea.

As we proceed, we’ll wander through the quaint streets of the village, taking in the natural beauty, traditional architecture, and cultural practices. There will be a pause in our itinerary for you to enjoy some of the region's renowned gastronomy.

Post-lunch, we’ll head to the historic area of Gyeongju Gyochon, a local traditional village rich in history. Strolling through its serene paths, you will appreciate its lush environment and ancient buildings, while gaining insight into the lifestyle of its inhabitants.

Next on our itinerary is Daereungwon, also recognized as the Royal Tombs Park, which is home to 23 significant tombs from the Silla Dynasty. Nearby, we'll find Hwangridan, a vibrant area that showcases a modern aspect of Gyeongju.

Our exploration concludes with a brief 20-minute visit to the Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond. This picturesque artificial lake, filled with vibrant fish, lies adjacent to Gyeongju National Park, immersing visitors in a tranquil ambiance perfect for reflection.

We'll also stop by the Woljeonggyo Bridge, an impressive feat of ancient construction with its robust stone arches. This historic bridge has been a vital element of Gyeongju’s transportation for centuries.

12-Hour Day Trip

This choice is perfect for those looking to savor every moment without haste. We’ll have 8 hours in Gyeongju, allowing for an unhurried exploration of its many wonders. Following your pick-up in Busan, our first destination will be the traditional village of Gyeongju Gyochon, where you can explore the heritage of the Choi family and the residence of Princess Yoseok, alongside some leisure time for lunch and sampling local dishes.

Next, we will visit the magnificent Bulguksa Temple, esteemed for its Buddhist artistry, and the Seokguram Grotto, a UNESCO World Heritage site housing one of the most exquisite Buddha statues looking towards the East Sea.

The tour proceeds to the Daereungwon complex (Royal Tombs Park), where we will delve into the history of Cheonmachong Tomb. Following that, we can take a stroll through Hwangridan, which harmonizes traditional hanoks with contemporary cafes.

Before concluding our adventure, we’ll visit Donggung Pond and Wolji Palace, uncovering the treasures hidden in its waters, and admire the stunning illumination of the Woljeonggyo Bridge, a remarkable ancient engineering work.
