Constructed in the late 19th century between Cambrils and Montbrió, Parc Samà was commissioned by Salvador Samà i Torrents, the Marquis of Mariano. This space was intended as a retreat where he could unwind. The influence of romanticism is evident throughout this park.

This cultural garden, recognized as a Bien de Interés Cultural, is home to a small palace, a serene lake with suspension bridges, and beautifully cultivated gardens that invite exploration.

The picturesque gardens boast a natural and somewhat untamed aesthetic. Among the nostalgic features, you will find deer and peacocks, reminiscent of the wildlife present during that era. Year of Gaudí

Josep Fontserè designed this remarkable garden, having worked alongside Antoni Gaudí on renowned projects including Barcelona’s Ciutadella Park. In honor of the Year of Gaudí 2026, Parc Samà is rolling out a special initiative, “Troba Gaudí,” featuring an array of activities:

• Reopening of the Torre Angulo viewpoint: This scenic highlight has been refurbished with mirrored installations to enhance the viewing experience.
• Concerts like “An Afternoon of Opera in the Historic Garden,” along with celebrations for the 8th Festival of the Indianos and Modernism, plus Instagram photography contests.
