Trip Details
Day 1: Xunáan Cenote - Chichén Itzá - Valladolid
After picking you up from your hotel in Cancun at 8:30 am, we'll head to the Xunáan Cenote, located a 2-hour drive away. We'll enjoy a refreshing swim in this enchanting natural pool, followed by a delicious buffet lunch, featuring traditional Yucatan dishes, to refuel – the perfect start to our tour!
The next stop will be the Chichén Itzá archaeological site, where we'll embark on a 2-hour guided tour of the ancient Mayan city's most important monuments: the Kukulcán pyramid, the Temple of the Warriors, the sacrificial altar, and more.
After learning all about the secrets of the Mayans, we'll continue to the nearby city of Valladolid. Here, we’ll explore the central plaza, home to San Servacio Church, and admire the architecture of the Palacio Municipal, before returning to the hotel in Cancun around 8:30 pm.
Day 2: Tulum - Cenote Nohoch
On the morning of day 2, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our 2-hour drive along the coast of the Riviera Maya to the Tulum archaeological site.
Upon arrival at the impressive ancient citadel, nestled in a lush jungle on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea, we'll begin a 2-hour guided tour of Tulum. We’ll admire spectacular views and explore its most significant structure, The Castle, which served as a lighthouse for sailors.
Next, we'll visit the beautiful Cenote Nohoch, where you'll have an hour of free time to cool off in the water – a true paradise! We’ll enjoy another buffet-style lunch, and at the end of the 2-day tour, we’ll head back to the hotel, where you’ll be dropped off between 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm.
