The Chicago Explorer Pass is designed to provide entry to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 of the city’s premier attractions, offering an opportunity to save as much as 50%. Alternatively, the Chicago Essentials Pass allows access to 3 attractions of your preference.

Chicago Essentials Pass
This pass allows you to choose 3 attractions from a curated list of experiences:

How It Works
Upon making your reservation, you will select whether you want access to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 attractions throughout the city. The Chicago Explorer Pass allows maximum flexibility, giving you the choice of over 25 attractions to explore during your time in Chicago.
This pass enables one entry per attraction and is valid for 30 days from activation. To activate your pass and enter any chosen attraction, just present your voucher at the entrance. It's advisable to consult the digital guide for details on activities that can be booked ahead of time, ensuring a smoother experience without long wait times.
Though a start date is required during the reservation process, the pass can be utilized for up to 24 months after the indicated date.
Children Under 3
Children's passes for the Chicago Explorer Pass are available for ages 3 to 12, while most attractions provide complimentary admission for children under 3. For further details, checking the specific attraction websites is recommended.

This voucher is not an entrance ticket. It cannot be redeemed for paper tickets nor is it valid to access any of the tourist attractions.
Your confirmation email includes an attachment. Please check that the PDF document contains the passes you have purchased with one QR code for each user. If you do not receive the PDF, please contact us via our web contact form.
Your pass is not activated by downloading it. To activate your card and access any of the attractions or activities for free, just show your mobile pass (or printed ticket) at the main entrances of the attractions.
Print or download the PDF to use your tourist pass:
- Print your pass: Download and print the PDF with the corresponding passes and city travel guide
- Download your pass: Download and save the PDF on your mobile device or tablet and scan your pass at the entrance of the various attractions you want to visit.
Your pass is not activated by downloading it. To activate your card and access any of the attractions or activities for free, just show your mobile pass at the main entrances of the attractions. Your pass is valid for 30 days after you activate it.
How does the Go City: Chicago Explorer Pass work?
The Go City: Chicago Explorer Pass offers absolute flexibility: decide which of the 25 attractions included in the tourist pass you want to visit on the go. The pass includes free entrance to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 attractions/ activities, depending on the pass you purchase.
The Go City: Chicago Explorer Pass provides one-time access to each attraction and is valid for 30 days from the time of activation. Local bank holidays may affect the opening hours of the attractions included in the pass. Please keep in mind that you will not be refunded (partially or totally) if the attractions are closed on local public holidays.
Although you must select a date when booking, your pass will be valid for 24 months following this date.
