Your adventure begins at a time of your choosing at the entrance of the Gordonzello winery. Nestled in the charming municipality of Gordoncillo, this wine tourism hub stands out as one of the top destinations in southeastern León.
The first part of the tour allows you to explore the intricate areas responsible for wine production and aging. You’ll discover that the journey of winemaking involves well-defined stages that are crucial for creating high-quality wines. Following this, a visit will be made to the barrel storage room, where the wines undergo further maturation.
Next, we will observe the bottling and labeling process, which represents the final steps in bringing the wine from the winery to your table. The exceptional quality of these wines is acknowledged by both private consumers and dining establishments alike. We will highlight the various accolades received by Gordonzello, including the Gilbert & Gaillard gold medals and recognition from the International Wine and Spirits Competition.
Throughout the visit, you will learn about the signature products crafted at the winery, such as Peregrino Blanco, Antojo Rosado Dulce, Peregrino Tinto Roble, and Sangria Gordonzello, among others. The highlight will be a tasting of 3 exceptional wines, complemented by a selection of cured meats from León. If your visit coincides with the grape harvest, you will also have the opportunity to taste fresh grape juice.
This engaging experience will last approximately 90 minutes.
