The Canfranc Express offers a picturesque rail experience through one of Huesca’s most stunning areas, showcasing the lush landscapes of the Aragonese Pyrenees.

This delightful vintage train has been beautifully restored and is recognized as a Historic Railway Heritage. The train comprises a Series 315 locomotive from the 1950s and original carriages from the 1930s, along with a specialized wagon for bicycles.

At the scheduled departure time, you will board the Canfranc Express at the Jaca Train Station.

During the 35-minute ride, you will witness breathtaking views characterized by dense forests and majestic mountains.

The train will pause at Castiello de Jaca and Villanúa before continuing towards Canfranc, where you will find the railway station, regarded as one of the most stunning train terminals in Spain.

Although the historic station is no longer operational, it has been transformed into a 5-star hotel that retains its original charm. Its location near France made it a vital point, particularly during the Second World War.

Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy 5 hours of leisurely exploration. Take this opportunity to wander about, savor the delightful cuisine of the region.

Eventually, you will board the train back to Jaca at the predetermined time.
