Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Durrës at the scheduled time, setting the stage for a memorable excursion to Berat and Belshi Lake. Prepare yourself to immerse in the historic highlights of Albania.

We will first arrive at Belshi Lake, a serene natural gem that attracts both locals and visitors seeking a peaceful getaway. Here, you can relax for around 40 minutes after our 1.5-hour travel from Durrës.

Next, our journey continues towards Berat, often referred to as the "city of a thousand windows." As we reach our destination, the reason behind this moniker will become apparent. We will walk over the Gorica Bridge, which links the historic neighborhoods of Mangalem and Gorica across the Osum River.

Wandering through the charming streets of Mangalem, we’ll arrive at Berat Castle for a guided exploration. Here, you will learn about the numerous civilizations, including the Illyrians, Romans, Byzantines, and Ottomans, that have shaped this remarkable fortress over the ages.

Upon concluding our castle tour, you'll have an hour to enjoy lunch and sample delightful Albanian dishes. After your meal, we’ll visit another significant site in Berat, the Bachelors' Mosque, recognized as a Cultural Monument since 1961.

To round off the day, we will retrace our steps back home, culminating the trip after approximately 8.5 hours.
