On board the Galway sightseeing bus, you'll visit the city's most famous sights in a comfortable and convenient way. You can hop on and off at all the stops.
Route & Stops
Our hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus takes you on an hour-long journey around the essential places in picturesque Galway on Ireland's west coast. The route includes 13 stops at the city's most important landmarks and monuments, which you will learn about in more detail thanks to the onboard audio commentary.
Some of the stops of the Galway sightseeing bus are Eyre Square, Spanish Arch, Galway Cathedral, and Salthill Promenade.
How It Works
The ticket is valid for 1 or 2 consecutive days from when it is used for the first time. During this time you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you want.
Although a start date is requested when making the reservation, all tour bus tickets are valid for three months from the date you have chosen in the reservation. When you make a reservation, you'll receive a voucher by email, which you'll need to hand in on the first bus you take.
Bus Schedule & Frequency
The sightseeing bus in Galway operates every day between 10:30 am and 3 pm. The bus departs every 45 minutes during high season and every 90 minutes the rest of the year.

Important information
Please present this voucher on when you use the City Sightseeing bus service for the first time. This voucher can be used to board the bus at any of its designated stops.

You have a period of 3 months from the initiation date which you specified on the reservation, in which to activate the pass. The bus does not operate on the 25th or 26th of December, or the 1st of June.
