At the designated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the J.F. Iradier Winery to kick off this perfect tour if you're in Samaniego and you're a wine enthusiast. Ready to discover the essence of the Rioja Alavesa?
Once we're ready, we'll step into the older part of the winery. Did you know it dates back to the 18th century? We'll uncover the best-kept secrets of J.F. Iradier as we share some of the traditional wine elaboration techniques that the winery still preserves.
We'll walk through the winery's cellars and tunnels, where the wine was made and bottled in the past. You'll surely be surprised by this space carved into a rock and by the temperature inside!
Afterward, we'll head to the most modern part to learn how the wine elaboration has evolved in this winery and discover how it became one of the symbols of the Rioja Alavesa. After the tour, we'll enjoy a tasting of three J.F. Iradier wines with a snack of typical products.
