During the reservation process, you will have the choice between two distinct options. Both experiences embark from Pier Number 4 at the Fluvial Terminal of Tigre, featuring an audioguide in English on board, admission to Isla El Descanso, and a guided tour lasting one hour through the island’s features and beautiful gardens.

Isla El Descanso Day Trip (3 Hours)

Our adventure begins as we gather at the departure point to board a cozy boat, setting off to glide through the scenic Paraná Delta and arrive at the banks of the Sarmiento River. Let us embark!

For 30 minutes, you can admire notable sights including the rowing clubs, Costa Park, the Tigre Municipal Museum of Fine Art, and the Sarmiento History Museum. Our journey will conclude at the entrance to Isla El Descanso, where disembarkation takes place, followed by a guided exploration that uncovers the island's captivating landscapes and the stories behind its monuments.

During this walk, you will wander through its exquisite gardens meticulously designed, interspersed with creeks, bridges, and canals. Along the route, admire diverse sculptures crafted by prominent Argentinian artists such as Julio Le Parc, Pablo Reinoso, Bastón Díaz, Carlos Gallardo, Vivianne Duchinni, Pablo Curatella Manes, and José Fioravanti. Upon completing the tour, relish some leisure time inhaling the island's fresh air until it’s time to reconvene and head back to Tigre.

Isla El Descanso Day Trip + Lunch (6 Hours)

This option follows the same itinerary as previously mentioned, but with an added highlight: post-tour, we will visit the Open Restaurant located on Isla El Descanso to indulge in a three-course meal with the following choices:

• Starter: choose from mollejas (sweetbread), burrata, or smoked eggplant
• Main course: a selection of grilled meats accompanied by vegetables, french fries, or baby potatoes au gratin
• Dessert: peaches topped with Italian meringue, dulce de leche, and cream

This feast will be complemented with a bottle of Tumpeter from the La Rural Winery and non-alcoholic drinks.
