Immerse yourself in the stunning Andean scenery by embarking on a unique journey to the Las Leñas Valley, renowned for hosting one of South America's most expansive ski resorts.

At 8:15 am, our team will meet you at your accommodation in San Rafael for a drive south, traversing the stunning landscapes of Mendoza. Our first notable sight will be the Salinas del Diamante followed by the serene Los Parlamentos plains.

Next, we'll make our way to the El Sosneado area, where we will delve into the history of the FAU 571 plane accident. This flight, originating from Montevideo and en route to Santiago de Chile, tragically crashed into a glacier, leaving the 16 survivors to resort to cannibalism for 72 days as they fought for their survival.

Continuing along the Atuel River, we will soon arrive at the Las Leñas Valley. From the Infiernillo viewpoint, we will take in breathtaking views and also visit the stunning Niña Encantada Lagoon, celebrated for its striking turquoise hue. A stop at the remarkable Las Ánimas well will follow.

Our journey will then lead us to the Las Leñas Ski Resort, located at an impressive altitude of 2,000 meters (6,561 feet). This resort features 29 slopes covering a total of 65 kilometers (40 miles) of skiing terrain, alongside various hotels and dining options where you can relax and rejuvenate.

As the day comes to a close, you will return to your hotel in San Rafael, with an anticipated arrival around 7:30 pm.
