Description
Interested in exploring Torla-Ordesa? We have just the experience for you! Equip yourself with snowshoes and embark on a hike through the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, a stunning region within the Aragonese Pyrenees.
Snowshoe Hike in Ordesa & Monte Perdido
We'll gather at Calle Iglesia in Torla-Ordesa at 10 am. From this meeting point, you will follow the guide's vehicle to reach Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. Prepare for an exhilarating snowshoe hike!
Upon arrival at the starting point, you will be equipped with snowshoes and poles, and we'll set off through the snowy landscape.
Throughout this adventure, we will traverse the Aragonese Pyrenees, taking in the breathtaking views of snow-dusted peaks and the majestic fir trees that define this winter paradise.
As we stroll through the natural park, conversations will revolve around the unique ways in which the flora and fauna have adapted to survive in these tough mountain conditions. Additionally, we’ll share intriguing details about the surrounding regions. For instance, did you know that Monte Perdido is recognized as the highest limestone massif in Europe?
After concluding our snowshoeing expedition, you'll switch back to your regular shoes and return to your vehicles. We aim to wrap up the experience between 12 and 1 pm at the initial meeting place.
