Upon our entrance, we'll relive the cataclysmic event of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 1st century that led to the destruction of Pompeii. The intensity of this past epoch is sure to send chills down your spine!
As you make your reservation, you can choose from a private tour duration of 2, 3, or 4 hours. During our itinerary, we will meander through structures that once lay entombed by volcanic ash. Strolling along the prominent streets, we'll encounter the amphitheater, browse its shops, delve into the history of the Lupanar, and visit grand residences such as the Villa of the Mysteries and Casa Vettii.
Throughout the tour, expect to uncover fascinating insights about the locations we visit and marvel at the stunning frescoes that have withstood the test of time. Important information
On the day of the activity, please arrive at the indicated time at the ticket office of the archaeological site of Pompeii, where your guide will be waiting for you. We recommend arriving 10 minutes in advance.
Please note that this activity does not include admission to the archaeological site of Pompeii, which you'll have to purchase on your own at the ticket office or through the website https://www.ticketone.it/en/artist/scavi-pompei/. We recommend the latter option to avoid long queues at the ticket office.
From November 15th 2024, tickets to Pompeii purchased online will be assigned to your name. Therefore, the name and surname on the ticket must match the name and surname of the person who will be using it.
Free tickets for children can be bought at the Pompeii ticket office by providing the necessary ID, but with the ticket already purchased for adults.
If you're a group of more than 10 people, you'll have to buy headphones for the tour, which will cost 2EUR per person.
Please note that on the 2- or 3-hour tour, you will see either the Roman amphitheater or the Villa of the Mysteries, as the distance between the two sites is too great and the total duration of the tour does not allow for both visits. On the 4-hour tour, it will be possible to visit both sites.
