Our journey begins at 9 am at Þórsgata 8a in Patreksfjördur, where we will set off southward to discover one of Iceland's remarkable beaches, Raudasandur. Throughout the 30-minute drive, you will enjoy spectacular vistas of the Patreksfjördur fjord, visible from the comfort of our minibus.

Upon arrival at Raudasandur, you'll quickly grasp the allure of this location. The name translates to "red sand," a nod to its expansive stretch of over 6 miles (10 kilometers) of distinctive reddish sands that attracts numerous visitors each year. Take a leisurely walk along the beach and appreciate the striking juxtaposition of the red sands against the black cliffs that envelop the area.

On clear days, you may catch a glimpse of the Snæfellsjökull glacier on the horizon. Additionally, keep an eye out for the many seals that inhabit the beach; witnessing these playful creatures relaxing with their pups is sure to be a memorable highlight of your visit.

After exploring the beach and delving into its fascinating history, we will begin our journey back to the starting point, concluding the trip around 2 pm.
