Experience the thrill of snowmobiling through the stunning icy landscapes of the Northwest Territories! - an exhilarating journey awaits you during your visit to Yellowknife.

Snowmobile Expedition

Your adventure begins at 11 am with a hotel pickup in Yellowknife, where a minibus will transport you to the snow-covered terrains of the Northwest Territories. Once we reach this remote and pristine wilderness, our exciting snowmobile journey will commence.

Get ready by donning your gloves, helmets, and appropriate warm attire. Following a concise training session on the proper and safe handling of the snowmobiles, we will hop on and embark on our journey. For the next 40 minutes, we will glide through the spectacular frozen forests of the Northwest Territories. Our guide will lead us along the frozen edges of the vast Great Slave Lake—the deepest lake in North America.

This snowmobiling trail offers a chance to observe various native Canadian wildlife in their natural surroundings. Notable species in this region include the snow partridge, fox, rabbit, and arctic lynx. With some patience, you may see them hunting as we quietly navigate through their habitat!

The adventure will conclude at our starting point, followed by a return trip to your hotel, with an expected arrival time of 12:30 pm.

Essential Information

A valid driving license is required to operate the snowmobiles.

Snowmobile Capacity

On the day of your adventure, we will provide one snowmobile for every two participants. Both individuals can take turns driving as frequently as they wish.
