Utila Sunset Boat Ride
Description
On this sunset boat ride, depart for the east coast of Utila to sail through its mangrove channels as the sun begins to set. Experience the beauty of nature as day turns into night.
Activity Details
Meet at the scheduled time in front of the Caribbean Dreams apartments. Board the boat and start your cruise around the coast of Utila.
Shortly, arrive at the mangrove channels, a natural barrier protecting the island. Navigate through an enclave with intertwined roots forming tunnels of dense vegetation overhead. Observe the seabirds flying above in search of food, and with some luck, spot crabs and reptiles climbing the branches.
Next, pass under the bridge that connects parts of the island and enter a second lagoon, where more wildlife awaits. Heading back to open sea, enjoy the calm of the sunset as it unfolds.
Stop at a strategic point to anchor, take a dip, and watch the sun set over the Honduran Caribbean. If you wish, snorkelling goggles will be provided to explore the underwater landscapes of Utila. This promises to be a magical experience!
At the end of the journey, return to the starting point and conclude your 2-hour cruise.
