Meet your guide at the scheduled time at the main entrance of the ancient stone Varaha Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. During your tour, you will hear the legendary tale of the deity appearing as a boar to protect goddess Earth. Admire the architectural details of this 12th-century temple, which is the oldest in Pushkar.
Your next stop will be the historic Rangji Temple, featuring an intricately carved stone tower adorned with representations of various Hindu gods. As you marvel at these elaborate scenes, learn all about the different beliefs in India, the birthplace of four of the world's major religions, each with distinct architectural styles.
As you stroll through the narrow alleyways, you will arrive at the Brahma Temple. This famous religious building, known for its vibrant colors, is Pushkar's only shrine dedicated to the Hindu creator god and one of the very few remaining across the Indian subcontinent.
Your walking tour will culminate with a climb to the hilltop Savitri Temple, built in honor of one of Lord Brahma's wives, Savitri. Discover the ancient Hindu tale of this goddess while enjoying spectacular panoramic views over the sacred Pushkar Lake and the city itself.
