Al Ain Day Trip
Description
During this excursion to Al Ain departing from Dubai, you will have the opportunity to explore beautiful oases, magnificent palaces, and impressive mountains. Immerse yourself in the traditional essence of this captivating city.
Excursion Overview
Following your pickup from the hotel in Dubai at the designated time, we will embark on a bus journey heading southeast for approximately an hour and a half towards Al Ain, situated at the border of Oman. The total travel time is estimated to be around 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Upon reaching Al Ain, which is the fourth most populous city in the United Arab Emirates, you will discover its nickname, 'The Spring', and the reasons behind it!
We'll begin our visit at Qasar Al Ain, also known as the Al Ain Palace Museum. Here, we'll observe the distinctive Bedouin-style architecture of the palace that once belonged to the late Sheikh Zayed and his family, while delving into the details of his life.
Next, our path takes us to Jahili Fort. We will enter the fortress and appreciate its vast array of photographs, alongside marveling at its 19th-century architectural style. This location holds historical significance as a strategic point—let's uncover its story!
Our itinerary continues at the Al Ain Oasis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. This expansive garden boasts over 147,000 date palms and showcases the renowned Aflaj irrigation system, which channels fresh spring water from the Hajar Mountains.
Following our time in the oasis, we'll ascend to Jebel Hafeet Mountain, the tallest mountain in the Emirate. Don’t forget your camera for the stunning views! By this point, you may be feeling hungry, so we'll make a stop at a mountain-top restaurant where you can enjoy an international buffet (beverages not included). Enjoying a meal overlooking these breathtaking landscapes will certainly enhance your day!
After around 8 hours of exploration, we will conclude our tour and return you to your hotel in Dubai.
