Upon reserving your spot, you'll have the option to choose between two distinct routes. Both tours commence at 10 am and extend over a duration of 4 hours, offering hotel pickup, transportation by bus, and an English-speaking guide. Below are the specifics of each tour:
Durango Guided Tour + Mining Tunnel Museum
After collecting you from your accommodation, we will head to the Plaza de Armas, where we will admire the stunning Durango Cathedral, an exquisite baroque architectural marvel. Following this, a visit to the Museum of Sacred Art will reveal the process of Christianisation that transpired during colonial times, along with the mysteries surrounding faith in this region of Mexico.
Next, we will proceed to the Mining Tunnel Museum, where you will be immersed in the world of mining tools, including hydraulic hammers, iron vats, lighting lamps, and various minerals such as quartz, hematite, and blue quartzite. As we exit, we will discuss the Holy Inquisition at the Plazuela Baca Ortiz and uncover the enigmas of Calle de los Ahorcados.
Our tour concludes with a closer look at the impressive ornamental details of the Conde del Valle de Súchil Palace's façade, a sight that is sure to leave you awe-struck!

Choosing this variant allows for visits to the Plaza de Armas, the Museum of Sacred Art, Calle de los Ahorcados, and the Plazuela Baca Ortiz as well. After exploring the city of Durango, we will move on to the Francisco Villa Museum, housed within the Zambrano Palace. Here, we will delve into the Mexican Revolution and uncover the significance of the renowned military figure, Pancho Villa.
