Tour of the Barbas Bremen Nature Reserve
We will gather at the designated meeting point at the arranged time. Once everyone is present, we'll set off towards the Barbas Bremen Nature Reserve, recognized as the most significant reserve in this region of Colombia.
After a brief drive of 15 minutes, we will reach this natural sanctuary and embark on a 4-kilometer (2.4 mi) hiking journey through the Andean jungle.
As we traverse the trails, we will observe the various animal species inhabiting this area and discuss the remarkable biodiversity found within the park. We will also learn to recognize the different plants we encounter, and if fortune smiles upon us, we might just glimpse howler monkeys, protected birds, and small mammals!
At some point, we will arrive at a traditional farm, providing a welcome opportunity to pause and refresh ourselves with a cup of coffee. After this break, we’ll continue along our path, relishing the rich flora and fauna of Barbas Bremen.
In conclusion, we will make our way back to the starting point, wrapping up our three-hour hike with a delightful refreshing lemonade.
