Activity Overview

The kayak journey will commence at the pre-established time from the Spiaggia sull'Arno. Imagine yourself effortlessly gliding through the serene waters of Florence. As we paddle, you'll navigate beneath historic bridges and take in the reflections of the magnificent palaces along the riverbank.

Prior to embarking, we will distribute the necessary equipment and provide a concise briefing on safety measures. Once prepared, we will embark on our expedition down the Arno River, unveiling the charm of Florence from an extraordinary vantage point.

During our excursion, we’ll pass under three of the city's main bridges, including the iconic Ponte Vecchio, known for its traditional goldsmith shops and the adjacent Vasari Corridor. The kayak allows us to enjoy stunning views of the Uffizi Gallery, the graceful lines of the Ponte Santa Trinita, and the stately National Central Library.

A highlight of the Arno kayak adventure will be the descent over the St. Nicholas Dam, adding an exhilarating element before we glide beneath the charming arches of the Ponte Vecchio!

After two hours of exploration, we will conclude our journey at the river’s edge where we first started.
