Day Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a pickup at 7:10 am from your hotel in Florianópolis, as we set out towards the breathtaking Serra Catarinense, a highlight of southern Brazil.

Our first stop will be at Portal de Urubici, where we can capture stunning photos and start to appreciate the charm of this mountain-surrounded town, known for its canyons and remarkable monuments. Next, we will proceed to Morro do Campestre, a striking rock formation offering sweeping views of the Canoas River valley. Here, visitors can take in the vistas while learning about the local geology.

Our journey continues with a visit to a shop featuring traditional handicrafts from Santa Catarina. Subsequently, we will arrive at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, a tranquil site enveloped by lush greenery, perfect for reflection and peace. After this serene experience, you will have free time to enjoy lunch at your convenience in Urubici.

Once refreshed, we will continue our expedition to the awe-inspiring viewpoint of Serra do Rio do Rastro, which stands approximately 1,450 m (4,757 ft) above sea level. Here, you can admire the serpentine roads and vibrant landscapes that have made this location an iconic representation of Brazil. Following this, we will traverse the picturesque road, renowned as one of the most beautiful in the country.

As the day draws to a close, we will journey back to Florianópolis, completing our tour approximately 13 hours after departure.
