Join us at Praça Luís de Camões Square as we embark on our hiking journey into Covão dos Conchos. Ready to accept the adventure? Let's set off!
Our first destination is Lagoa Comprida, a stunning reservoir nestled within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. This expansive park is one of the largest mountain ranges in Portugal.
After reaching the reservoir, we will commence our trek, covering around 4.3 kilometers (2.6 miles) until we arrive at Covão dos Conchos. Here, we will uncover the hidden wonders that lie within this quaint location in the middle of the lake, where large volumes of water cascade daily.
In the end, we will return to our starting point, concluding our hike in approximately 4 to 5 hours.
