Once we arrive at this port, situated in the town of Conceição de Jacareí, we will board a vehicle for an eastward journey. This drive, lasting around 2.5 hours, takes us to Galeão Airport, where we will change vehicles and welcome additional passengers.

After a brief stop, we'll resume our eastward trajectory to the coastal paradise of Cabo Frio, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation. The complete journey from Ilha Grande to Cabo Frio typically spans about 7 hours.

Upon reaching Cabo Frio, you’re welcome to explore the sights at your leisure. Known for its pristine waters and sandy beaches, the town boasts sites like Praia do Forte, Praia do Peró, and Praia das Dunas.

Every traveler can bring along 1 medium suitcase (dimensions: 67 cm (26.3 in) high, 48 cm (18.8 in) wide, 27 cm (10.6 in) long) or 1 small suitcase (dimensions: 55 cm (21.6 in) high, 40 cm (15.7 in) wide, 25 cm (9.8 in) long), in addition to 1 personal item (like a backpack or shoulder bag). Any extra luggage or non-compliant items will incur an additional fee of 100BRL per journey.
For excess baggage, passengers must provide 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so may result in the driver deciding whether to allow boarding based on passenger numbers and vehicle capacity.
Special luggage, including surfboards, baby strollers, and folding wheelchairs, must be communicated in advance, as an extra charge of 100BRL will apply, subject to space availability for the items.
In situations of hard-to-reach accommodations needing a support vehicle, passengers must assist with the transfer of their belongings between vehicles.
Passengers are solely responsible for their own luggage.

Important information

On the day of the transfer, head to the following point on Ilha Grande: main pier of Vila do Abraão. Please be sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

Please note that the stop at Rio de Janeiro airport to change vehicles and pick up other passengers can last between five minutes and one hour.

Boarding Fee

Please be aware that a boarding fee of 10.30BRL per person must be paid on the day of the activity. The fee does not apply to local residents, registered service providers, people with disabilities, children under 5, or seniors over 60.
