Sledding in the Bernese Alps
Description
Who says fun is only for the young? Revisit the highlights of your childhood as you enjoy the exhilarating experience of sledding down the picturesque slopes of the Bernese Alps!
Sledding in the Bernese Alps
At the designated time of your selected tour, we will convene at Industriestrasse 17. This central location in Interlaken serves as our starting point for an exciting journey into a winter paradise!
After a short 15-minute drive, we’ll arrive at the enchanting village of Isenfluh. Situated in the canton of Bern, this charming Swiss village sets the perfect backdrop for our thrilling adventure. From here, we'll board a cable car that ascends to the Sulwald Alpine station, a delightful 5-minute ride. Are you prepared to embark on an exciting sledding descent? In case of less than favorable weather, there's no need to worry; we have an alternative equally enjoyable location within the Bernese Alps planned for our activity.
To begin, our guide will provide a brief instruction on how to properly use the sleds. Please note that no husky dogs or animals will pull the sleds; each participant will navigate their own sled across the snowy landscape. Get ready for a fun-filled adventure in the snow!
Your guide will lead the way on their sled, with the group closely following behind. The exhilarating sled ride will last a full 1 hour, allowing us to take in the breathtaking beauty of the Swiss Alps, featuring lush forests and snow-draped meadows. For those selecting the nighttime sledding experience, prepare to admire these stunning vistas illuminated by the gentle glow of moonlight—a true visual spectacle!
Following our thrilling hour of sledding, we’ll return to the Sulwald station to board the cable car back to Isenfluh. The final segment of our journey will take us back to the initial meeting point in Interlaken, where we'll arrive approximately 3 hours after our pickup.
