Situated directly opposite the renowned Grand Bazaar, this historical bathhouse boasts a legacy that spans over 500 years, having been established upon the directive of Gedik Ahmet Pasha in 1457. Upon your arrival, you’ll be captivated by the magnificent ceiling that soars to 52.49 feet (16 meters).
This complete experience lasts 1 hour, beginning with a comprehensive 45-minute ritual that includes:
- A delightful 15-minute repose on a heated marble stone.
- A soothing 10-minute exfoliation, where a skilled therapist utilizes a traditional kese—an exfoliating glove—to eliminate dead skin, leaving your skin feeling revitalized and fresh.
- A 20-minute bubble foam massage, designed to ease muscle tension and facilitate an overall sense of relaxation. This ancient ritual is not merely cleansing—it offers a deep cultural experience that revitalizes your body and spirit.
Following this 45-minute ritual, you will have an additional 15 minutes to savor tea and Turkish delights provided for your enjoyment.
Essential Information
- The facilities for men and women are exclusive, and all rituals are conducted by genders corresponding with the attendees.
- Children between the ages of 6 and 14 must be under the supervision of an adult: boys with men and girls with women.
- Your visit includes towels, gloves, disposable underwear, slippers, and cosmetics for your comfort.
- Massage rooms are private, except for the bubble foam massage area.

15 minutes before the designated time, you'll need to go to Gedikpasa Hammam (https://maps.app.goo.gl/FYb224fSyye8BZ3u6).
The bath is not recommended for women in their first or last trimester of pregnancy, as well as for people with heart conditions, diabetes, or asthma.

- Men's and women's sections are separate, and rituals are performed by attendants of the same gender.
- Towels, gloves, disposable underwear, slippers, and cosmetics will be provided for your visit.
- Massage rooms are private, except for the bubble foam massage room.
- Locker rooms are private.
- Drinks and sweets are served to clients: Turkish coffee, Turkish delights, sorbets, nuts, and fruit.
- Children under 6 are not allowed admission to the hammam
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult to enter.
- People who have had alcohol recently are not recommended to use the bath.
