Hurulu Eco Park Safari

Your trip will commence from your accommodation in Kandy at 11 am. After a scenic drive of approximately three hours, we will arrive at the renowned Hurulu Ecological Park, one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated nature reserves.

Upon entering the park, we will board a jeep to initiate our photographic safari. As we traverse the landscape, we will encounter the rich biodiversity of the region, including turtles, leopards, and various amphibians. The diverse ecosystems supporting the reserve provide a habitat for numerous bird species, including colorful parrots, majestic hawks, and vibrant peacocks.

After a relaxing picnic break, we will reach the highlight of our tour: the elephant sighting at Hurulu. You will be awestruck by the impressive size of these incredible creatures as we observe them in their natural habitat. We will learn about their intriguing behaviors and social structures during our encounter.

The final segment of our safari will take us to the Hurulu Wewa reservoir, where you can witness various bird species gathering at the water's edge. Many of these birds travel vast distances to enjoy the cool waters of Sri Lanka, making this a remarkable sight.

Our safari adventure will wrap up as we return to the park's entrance, where we will board a minibus to take us back to Kandy. We expect to arrive at your hotel by 8:30 pm.
