Embark on a guided exploration of Koper, where you will encounter some of the most notable landmarks that capture the essence of this coastal gem.

Description

We will convene at the cruise ship terminal at the specified time, and once the group is complete, we will set off to reveal Koper's hidden treasures.

This journey will transport us back to the era of Venetian Renaissance, where the past is vividly reflected in the city's squares and its exquisitely preserved buildings.

As we wander through the charming, winding streets of the Istrian Peninsula's coastal city, our path will lead us to the Muda Gate, Prešeren Square, and the historic Da Ponte Fountain. Dating from 1666, this fountain features a semicircular bridge supported by 15 columns, each adorned with the heraldry of local noble families.

Our exploration will also take us by other significant sites in Koper, including the Assumption Cathedral, Tito Square, and Carpaccio Square, along with the vibrant seaside promenade. To enhance our experience, we will stop to indulge in some of the region's culinary delights, accompanied by a refreshing glass of wine. Cheers to that!

After approximately three hours of captivating exploration, we will return to our original meeting point to conclude our tour.
