Off-Roading Tour of La Graciosa
Description
Have you ever explored the smallest inhabited island in the Canary Islands? Join our off-road adventure in La Graciosa to unveil its rich history and striking volcanic scenery.
Tour Overview
We'll commence our journey at the scheduled time, meeting at Calle García Escámez, number 21, near the Church of Our Lady of Carmen. From this location in Caleta del Sebo, we will embark on an exhilarating off-road journey through La Graciosa, known as the smallest inhabited island within the Canary Islands.
Departing from Caleta del Sebo, the capital of La Graciosa, we'll head north to explore Pedro Barba, a quaint village consisting of just 20 homes, where we’ll have the opportunity to see the area's early constructions. You’ll also enjoy the serene, sandy beach of this community.
Our adventure continues northwards in La Graciosa, where we'll navigate through the stunning white dunes of Playa Lambra. Following this, we'll visit the Arcos de los Caletones, an impressive volcanic tunnel that showcases the powerful waves crashing against it.
We'll conclude our tour at the idyllic Playa de las Conchas, a breathtaking and unspoiled beach at the base of the Montaña Bermeja. From this exceptional vantage point, you'll gaze upon the coastlines of the island of Montaña Clara, which, alongside La Graciosa, Alegranza, and the surrounding smaller islets, make up the Chinijo Archipelago.
Afterward, we will return to our starting point, wrapping up this off-road experience, which spans 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Beach Extension Option
For those interested, after the off-road adventure, an option to remain at Playa de las Conchas for personal leisure is available.
Alternatively, we can also transport you to Playa Francesa, situated in the island's southern region, beneath Montaña Amarilla. From this peaceful beach, a walk to the nearby Cocina beach is possible.
