Day 1
We'll meet you at your hotel or the airport in Manado at the arranged time. Following this, you'll be transported to the base of Mount Mahawu, where a peaceful 10-minute ascent will reward you with magnificent views of the volcano's crater. What a perfect way to kick off your adventure!
Next, our journey will take us to the village of Woloan, known for its serene Buddhist temple that is enveloped by vibrant flower fields. From there, our path leads back to the slopes of the Minahasa Highlands, home to historic WWII tunnels.
Ultimately, we will reach the Tangkoko Nature Reserve, a designated national park celebrated for its distinctive wildlife. Prepare for a night immersed in nature, creating unforgettable memories.
Day 2
Awakening at 6 am, we will prepare to encounter some of the most remarkable native species of North Sulawesi. With a bit of luck, we may spot black-crested macaques, tarsiers, or the rare bear cuscus, an intriguing marsupial.
After returning to the lodge for a fulfilling breakfast, the remainder of the day will be dedicated to exploring more of the unique animals within the Tangkoko Nature Reserve. This segment of the journey is a true highlight for any wildlife enthusiast!
Day 3
On the final day, indulge in a hearty breakfast with views over Tangkoko Nature Reserve, followed by your transfer back to Manado Airport, where we'll say goodbye until your next exciting journey.
Accommodation
This three-day adventure includes overnight stays at Tangkoko Hill Cottage for your first night, and at Tangkoko Lodge or a similar establishment for your second night.
