Sault Lavender Experience

Your journey begins at 8 am, where you will greet your knowledgeable guide in Marseille. We will depart in a comfortable minivan, allowing you to take in the scenic landscapes of Provence as we head deep into the region.

Our first stop is the picturesque area known as Pays de Sault, a place renowned for its cultivation and distillation of lavender and lavandin.

Upon reaching Sault, referred to as the “capital of lavender,” enjoy free time for lunch or to explore the various lavender shops. Don’t miss the chance to sample some local Provençal delicacies, including the village’s specialty nougat made with lavender honey and almonds, or indulge in lavender ice cream.

The next highlight is a visit to a local lavender producer during the distillation season, where you will gain insights into the intricate techniques used to create premium lavender essential oils.

After immersing ourselves in the beauty of the lavender fields, we will continue to a renowned Luberon village. Gordes, celebrated as one of “the most beautiful villages in France,” is dramatically positioned on a hill. Marvel at the castle that guards the traditional dry-stone houses nestled below.

Finally, we will visit the lavender fields surrounding the Abbey of Senanque. Here, you can capture unforgettable photos enveloped by the vibrant lavender blooms, with the monastery serving as a picturesque backdrop. The serene ambiance and tranquility of this location will perfectly conclude your tour.

You will return to Marseille by 6 pm.
