When you book, you may select between a 1 hour 30 minute tour or a 2 hour 30 minute tour, with both experiences starting and concluding at the Plaza Virgen de la Peña:
1 Hour 30 Minute Tour
Your journey will commence as we stroll through the historic heart of Mijas, delving into the town's origins while admiring its stunning white facade homes. Every corner presents a chance for a memorable photo!
As we wander, we’ll make our way to the Plaza de la Constitución, uncover the remnants of the ancient Arabic fortifications, and encounter the renowned donkey taxis that make Mijas unique. We'll share insights into what life was like during Al-Andalus, along with fascinating anecdotes.
This exploration will also take us to significant religious sites, including the church of the Immaculate Conception from the 16th century, and the intriguing hermitage of the Virgen de la Peña, notable for its rock-carved design.

Important information
On the day of the activity, please go to the sculpture of the donkey taxi located in front of the tourist office of Mijas, in the Plaza Virgen de la Peña. We recommend arriving 10 minutes in advance.
Tickets not included
If you have chosen the 2 hours 30 minutes tour we'll go inside the bullring or the Contemporary Art Centre, as you prefer. These tickets aren't included in the tour price. You'll have to pay between 3EUR per person on the day of the activity.
