Private Tour of Bandia Reserve
We will begin our journey by picking you up from your accommodation in Saly, proceeding directly north towards the Bandia Reserve. The route takes us through an enchanting forest of baobab trees, indigenous to the African landscape. After approximately two hours of travel, we will arrive at the Bandia Nature Reserve, a breathtaking protected area that shelters a variety of local wildlife.
Your exploration of the reserve will be conducted in an all-terrain vehicle. During this journey, you'll have the opportunity to observe remarkable animals such as buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, rhinos, and many other African species thriving in their natural habitat.
This safari through Bandia will allow you to take stunning photographs of these animals from a secure distance, creating lasting memories of your unforgettable experience. After the tour concludes, we will return to your hotel in Saly.

If you wish, you can also opt for a combined excursion to Bandia Reserve and Lac Rose from Saly. Apart from exploring the nature reserve, you will also get to witness the stunning Lac Rose (Pink Lake), one of Senegal's most remarkable natural attractions.

Fees not included in the Trip
The trip does not include the entry fee for the Bandia Reserve, which costs €19 ($21 approx.) per person. Once in the reserve, the only way to explore the area is via an all-terrain jeep tour which is not included in the trip. The jeep tour costs €62 euros ($70 approx.) per person.
Guide specialized in wildlife
This trip includes an English speaking guide, both for the journey from Saly and during the all-terrain jeep tour around Bandia Nature Reserve. Nevertheless, for those that prefer to learn about the animals in greater detail have the option to contract a tour guide specialized in the local wildlife (€10 / $11 per person) when they arrive at the reserve.
Hiring the specialist wildlife guide is optional and not obligatory.
