How It Works
Upon reservation, you won’t have to specify the attractions you intend to visit. Instead, you can make those choices spontaneously while in New York.
Keep in mind that some attractions may require prior bookings. After purchasing, a link will be provided for making necessary reservations.
The New York Essentials Pass permits single-entry access to the chosen observation deck and two attractions. Although you are asked to provide a start date when booking, the service can be utilized at any time within one year following the purchase.
The card is activated upon your first visit, and it remains valid for 30 days from that point.
Children Under 3
There is no need for a pass for children under 3 years; they can enter all attractions and observation decks at no cost.

Important information
This booking confirmation is not an admission ticket and cannot be exchanged for physical tickets or used to access the tourist attractions.
In your confirmation email, you will find a PDF attached. You must check that the file contains the purchased passes with a unique QR code for each user. If you do not receive the PDF, you can contact us through our web form.
Downloading the electronic pass will not activate it. To use your tourist card, you can present the QR code shown on your electronic passes at the entrance to the attractions. You must save the PDF in a mobile-compatible format so you can easily open it and show it on your phone to access the attractions.
Advance Reservation of Included Attractions
Reservations are required for most attractions. The Go City: New York Essentials Pass offers absolute flexibility. You can decide on the go which attractions and observation decks you want to visit.
New York also has some extremely popular attractions that do not require reservations but involve waiting times during peak periods, such as the 9/11 Memorial & Museum or the One World Observatory. For these specific attractions, please check the tips included in the digital guide for the best experience.
Local public holidays may affect the opening of some attractions included in the pass. Holiday closures will not be grounds for partial or full refunds of the price of the card.
Card Validity
The Go City: New York Essentials Pass gives one-time access to the observation deck and the 2 attractions you choose. Although a start date is requested at the time of booking, you can use the service within 1 year after purchase.
The pass is activated with your first visit. From that moment on, it expires after 30 days.
Children Under 3 Years
Children under 3 years old do not need a pass, as they can access all attractions and observation decks for free.
