Excursion Overview

At the agreed time, we will gather at the Peniscola Tourist Office to board a minibus destined for Morella, a gem nestled in the Levantine region renowned as one of Spain's most picturesque villages.

Your journey begins at the San Miguel gate, as we enter the historic heart of Morella. This area is celebrated for its imposing mansions, ancient structures, and charming cobblestone pathways.

Recognized for its honey production, we will stop at an artisanal honey shop to discover the traditional techniques involved in making this local delicacy.

Next, we will visit the Basilica of Morella, where you can admire its exquisite Valencian Gothic architecture dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries.

Our final highlight will be Morella Castle. From its exterior, we will delve into the castle’s captivating history. Following this, you will have one hour of free time to explore the castle grounds at your leisure or enjoy a meal in a nearby restaurant.

Concluding our adventure, we will return via minibus to the original meeting point in Peniscola, with an expected arrival approximately 9.5 hours after our departure.
