Beginner's Dive on Berlenga Grande

Explore the hidden gems of the ocean’s depths with this extraordinary beginner's diving experience off Berlenga Grande Island. This activity serves as an ideal gateway into the world of professional diving.

Dive Overview

At the scheduled time, we will gather at the Casal Ponte de Peniche, the venue of our diving center. Here, you'll be equipped with all necessary gear before we proceed to the port for boarding and set sail towards Berlenga Grande!

After an enjoyable 45-minute boat ride, we will reach this stunning nature reserve, ready to embark on our first thirty-minute dive. We’ll descend to a depth of 22 ft, where you'll have the chance to marvel at the diverse marine life of the Atlantic while learning to dive like professionals. Beneath the surface, expect to encounter corals, sunfish, and intriguing caves!

Following the dive, we will return to the boat for a light refreshment featuring a delightful cream cake and seasonal fruit, all while taking in the breathtaking views of this historic pirate haven.

Once we've had a chance to unwind, we will proceed to the second dive of the day. Keep an eye out for the vibrant fish, including schools of tuna and mackerel, that inhabit these waters!

After diving for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, we will board the boat once again for our return to the port of Peniche. There, we will reconvene at our meeting point to present you with your dive certificate and conclude this enriching experience, which spans between 6 to 6.5 hours.
