At the specified time, we will gather at 32 Via Roma and depart Pompeii as we commence our excursion to the Vesuvius National Park. Are you prepared for this experience?
Board our bus, which will ascend to an impressive height of 1,000 meters (3,280 ft) along Vesuvius' slopes. While traveling, you will be treated to stunning panoramic views of the Italian countryside.
Once we disembark, you’ll enjoy 1.5 hours of leisure time to explore the crater at your own pace. We suggest a brief 20-minute hike to the summit. As you make your way up, the audio guide in English will provide insights into the history and geological characteristics of Vesuvius, enriching your knowledge of this majestic natural giant. The vistas from the top are truly rewarding.
At the summit, you will be captivated by the allure of this active volcano and its steaming fumaroles. From this unique viewpoint, gaze out over the breathtaking Gulf of Naples and its surrounding islands, an exhilarating sight that promises to leave you in awe.
Following your exploration, the bus will be ready to take you back to Pompeii, where we anticipate arriving around 3 hours later.

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time at the offices of Around Vesuvius, located at 32 Via Roma (Via Roma, 32, 80045 Pompei NA, Italy). Please be sure to arrive at least 20 minutes in advance.
Please note that you will not be able to leave large bags or suitcases on the bus.
