Day 2: Discovering Prague
Your day begins with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a guided walking tour through New Town. Here, we will explore Wenceslas Square and continue our discovery of the city's Old Town, passing by the Gunpowder Tower, a signature landmark of this area.
Our next stop is the historic Old Town Square, where you’ll admire the façade of Týn Church and the renowned Prague Astronomical Clock located at the City Hall. Throughout the tour, we will discuss their significance in the city's history.
We conclude our exploration of Old Town along the Moldava riverbanks, where the iconic Charles Bridge awaits. Beyond this bridge lies Malá Strana, known for its baroque architecture and charming cobbled streets.
Following the tour, you are free to discover the city's monuments at your leisure.
Day 3: Leisure Day in Prague
After a hearty breakfast, you will have the entire day free in Prague! Utilize this time for a day trip to a nearby destination or take a leisurely stroll through various neighborhoods of the capital. Today is all about your exploration.
In the evening, consider attending a captivating blacklight theater performance, a highlight of Prague's nightlife. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxing cable car ride up to Mount Petrin for breathtaking views.
Day 4: Journey from Prague to Vienna
Post-breakfast at the hotel, you will meet us at the Prague train station for our first train journey to Vienna. The 4.5-hour journey offers stunning vistas of the Bohemia and Moravia regions as you travel in comfort.
Upon arrival in Austria’s capital, you’ll head to your assigned Vienna hotel. The remainder of your day is yours to unwind and explore this captivating city along the Danube River.
Day 5: Exploring Vienna
Good morning, Vienna! Start your day with a generous breakfast before we embark on a scenic tour along Ringstrasse. As we navigate this famous boulevard, known to locals as Vienna’s "ring," we will catch sight of significant landmarks including the State Opera House, the Museums of Art and Natural History, Hofburg Palace, and City Hall.
Post-tour, you will enjoy the afternoon free to continue exploring at your leisure.
Day 6: Rail Trip to Budapest
Savor breakfast at the hotel before we meet at the Vienna train station to begin our journey to Budapest. This tranquil 2.5-hour train ride allows you to admire the scenic central European landscapes from your seat.
Upon reaching Hungary's capital, make your way to your designated hotel in Budapest. Take some time to rest and relax, and if you wish, enjoy an evening stroll along the Danube River, especially enchanting at night.
Day 7: Discovering Budapest
After breakfast, prepare to explore the pearl of the Danube. Our guided tour of the Pest district includes a visit to the exterior of the National Opera and a stop at the striking Parliament Building, an emblematic structure of the city.
We will then walk along the Danube until we arrive at the famed Széchenyi Chain Bridge, connecting Buda and Pest. While we won't go inside, you will have the opportunity to view the majestic Buda Castle from the opposite riverbank.
After concluding our guided exploration of Budapest's historic center, the rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy.
