Our adventure begins at the designated time, as we gather at the entrance of the church situated in Salento's central park. From this point, we will set off in a 4x4 vehicle towards Cocora Valley. Are you excited to explore some breathtaking viewpoints?

Upon reaching the valley, we will embark on a two-hour trek to the Condor viewpoint. As we walk, we will have the opportunity to marvel at the unique flora surrounding us. Are you familiar with the wax palm? This remarkable tree is not only exclusive to this region but also serves as the national tree of Colombia, thriving solely in the Andean rainforests!

Once we reach the El Condor viewpoint, situated at an impressive altitude of 2600 meters (8530 feet), we will pause for an hour to capture photos, share insights about this intriguing natural area, and create a deeper connection with the environment. Here, we can relish stunning panoramas of the Cocora Valley canyon and, if fortune smiles upon us, catch a glimpse of the majestic Andean condor, renowned as the largest flying bird in the world! So keep your eyes wide open!

After soaking in the scenery, we will retrace our steps back to Cocora Valley, where you will have an hour and a half to enjoy lunch at your leisure. Our tour will then proceed with visits to notable sites in the town, unveiling some of the area’s most impressive viewpoints.

Ultimately, after an enriching journey lasting eight hours, we will return to Salento, concluding our excursion at the original meeting point.
