Embark on this surfing journey in San Bartolo and learn the art of catching waves under the guidance of experienced instructors who will equip you with the skills to become a skilled surfer!

The course caters to various skill levels: beginner, pre-intermediate, and intermediate. Based on your current abilities, participants will be grouped accordingly, allowing us to tailor the instruction to meet specific learning needs and targets for each level.

Your session will commence with a warm-up and stretching routine that takes place both in and out of the water. Following this, various drills on the beach will help you grasp essential movements and postures. You'll notice your progress in no time as you gain proficiency in surfing techniques!

As you practice, you’ll enjoy the pristine waves along the San Bartolo coast, renowned for its superb water quality, making it ideal for surfing and a variety of aquatic activities.

Class Structure

Upon registering, you have the option to book a single lesson or multiple sessions scattered over different time frames. Should you opt for a package of 4, 8, or 12 lessons, you can space them across 2 weeks, 2 months, or even 3 months—it's entirely up to you!

Important information

We will meet at the chosen time at the hotel Playa San Bartolo, located on the Malecón José de San Martín of San Bartolo beach (234, San Bartolo 15856).

Please arrive 15 minutes in advance.

Please note

Each student should bring a change of swimwear, towel and sandals.
The beach where the class takes place depends on the state of the sea. Once we know which beach is confirmed, we will inform you by email.
We recommend you to be punctual. If you arrive late, you will not be able to enter the water as the instructor will already be in the water, so you will lose the lesson without the option to make it up. It is only possible to reschedule a class if the cause is justified (illness, travel, etc.) and if Olasperu is duly informed at least 24 hours in advance.
