Tour Overview

At the prearranged time, our team will collect you from your chosen hotel in the El Cibao region, setting the stage for an adventurous kayaking journey along the Yasica River.

Our excursion includes a brief visit to the local community of Nuestra Señora del Carmen. Here, you'll gain insight into the local traditions and witness the preparation of Dominican rodaos, a cherished type of biscuit.

Next, we will proceed to the scenic banks of the Yasica River. Once we reach our destination, we'll navigate downstream to uncover the river's secret gems.

As we paddle along, expect to see ancient trees, sandy shores, and pristine water pools. Midway through our journey, we'll pause for a light snack featuring locally made cheese and a delicious rodao. After replenishing our energy, we'll continue to explore the winding paths of the Yasica River.

As lunchtime approaches, we will make our way back to the community for a delightful traditional Dominican meal of rice and beans.

After enjoying a hearty lunch, we will begin our return trip to the starting point, with arrival anticipated between 5 to 10 hours after departure.
