Tarifa offers a unique opportunity to observe marine mammals in their natural habitat. The Strait of Gibraltar is home to a diverse range of sea creatures, including three dolphin species: the common dolphin, striped dolphin, and bottlenose dolphin, as well as various whale species such as sperm whales, pilot whales, and fin whales.
Upon arrival at Tarifa port, participants will board a boat tailored for an exhilarating whale and dolphin watching adventure. During the trip, you’ll have the chance to see these captivating creatures approach the boat, swimming and playing nearby, creating memorable experiences.
Expert biologist guides will accompany you, assisting in identifying the animals and providing intriguing insights about their behaviors and habitats.
The activity lasts for two hours, concluding with a farewell at the departure pier.

You'll embark on a marine adventure beginning at Tarifa port where you will board the boat. The journey includes:

Important information
Meet at 3 Calle Alcalde Juan Núñez, Tarifa, at the scheduled time, ready to climb aboard the boat. We recommend being at the meeting point at least 1 hour before the departure time.
This activity is subject to weather conditions. In the case that departure times change, you'll be contacted and informed of the new timings.
If the activity cannot go ahead because of unfavourable weather conditions, you'll be offered the possibility of moving your whale watching trip to another date.
Boarding Pass
Between 24 and 48 hours before the activity, the local provider will send you the boarding card to your email address, which will give you access to the boat on the day of the activity.
