Your adventure begins with a pick-up at 6:30 am from your hotel in Aracaju. From there, we will journey out of Sergipe and into the state of Alagoas, home to the historical city of Penedo.

Our first stop will be the handicraft center of Santana do São Francisco. Following this, we will make our way to the local pier to embark on a boat ride along the São Francisco River. This scenic journey leads us to Penedo, renowned for being a key location along the Rota do Imperador, a route that traces the footsteps of Emperor Pedro II. Are you familiar with the story of this Portuguese monarch?

Upon our arrival in Penedo’s historical center, we will explore the Church of Nossa Senhora das Correntes and the Imperial Palace Museum. After our visits, we will board the boat once again to navigate towards a beautiful sandbank named Croa, where you can enjoy a revitalizing swim in a natural setting.

Around this time, you may notice your appetite growing, prompting us to depart from the boat and head to a local restaurant for a buffet lunch featuring traditional dishes of fish, shrimp, and chicken.

Post-lunch, we will make our way back to your hotel in Aracaju, arriving around 7 pm.
