Transfer to Ilha Grande
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arraial do Cabo. From there, we will head west along the picturesque coastline of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
After approximately 3.5 hours of travel, we will reach Rio de Janeiro, where a quick stop will allow us to switch vehicles and gather additional passengers at either Santos Dumont Airport or Galeão Airport.
Leaving the vibrant city behind, we will continue heading west toward Conceição de Jacareí. Once we arrive in this charming coastal town, we will proceed to the pier at Porto Real Marina. Here, you will board a speedboat that will whisk you away to the pier at Vila do Abraão, the main hub of Ilha Grande.
The complete travel time from Arraial do Cabo to Ilha Grande is around 6 hours. Once on the island, you are free to uncover the many attractions at your leisure. The pristine sandy shores of Praia do Demo and Praia de Lopes Mendes are particularly popular!
Upon arrival, the allure of these beaches, perfect for snorkeling, will be evident. For those who prefer land activities, consider a trekking path leading to Praia da Julia. Additionally, indulging in the island's local cuisine is an experience not to be missed!
Luggage Policy
- Passengers are allowed to carry 1 medium-sized suitcase (dimensions: 67 cm (26.3 in) high, 48 cm (18.8 in) wide, and 27 cm (10.6 in) long) or 1 small suitcase (dimensions: 55 cm (21.6 in) high, 40 cm (15.7 in) wide, and 25 cm (9.8 in) long), along with 1 personal item (backpack or shoulder bag). Any extra luggage that does not adhere to these guidelines will incur a surcharge of 100BRL per trip.
- If you have excess baggage, please provide 24 hours' notice. Failing to do so may result in permission to board being subject to the discretion of the driver based on the available space and number of passengers.
- Special luggage (such as surfboards, baby strollers, folding wheelchairs, etc.) must be communicated in advance, as an additional fee of 100BRL will apply, based on availability.
- For difficult-to-navigate accommodations where an auxiliary vehicle is required, passengers must accompany their luggage during the transfer between vehicles.
- Each passenger is solely responsible for their luggage.

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Arraial do Cabo at the designated time. Please be ready to go at least 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup time.
Boarding Fee
You must bear in mind that, on the day of the activity, you will have to pay a fee of 10.30BRL per person for boarding.
